About
The NYC Property Investors Team co-founded by Susan Chan and Jeffrey Wong advises local and international clients, from first-time buyers to high-net-worth individuals who hold portfolios of real estate for generational wealth. Our goal is to provide excellent service to seamlessly guide our clients through each residential or commercial real estate transaction. Our clients reach out when in need of buy, sell, landlord, or tenant representation.
Susan Chan is a partner and leads the NYC Property Investors Team at R New York. She is a licensed real estate professional, property investor with residential and commercial holdings, entrepreneur of two successful businesses and a Condominium Board Member. Susan focuses on real estate families who are currently dealing with one of the greatest wealth transfers in history. She advises Baby Boomers and their heirs with purchasing, managing, selling, and the repurchasing of real estate property. Susan is an alumna of New York University and is fluent in English and Cantonese.
Jeffrey Wong is a licensed real estate salesperson and studies Finance and Data Science at the prestigious Stern School of Business at New York University. As a native New Yorker, Jeff has the home-court advantage. His knowledge of Manhattan is immense. Jeff regularly holds real estate discussions to provide information and answer questions from his peers and their families. A knowledgeable, local property agent on your side would definitely make the home purchasing process much easier to navigate through.
Each year, parents and their university-age children are overwhelmed with where their students should live while studying in NYC. Our team streamlines the process once families decide that they do not want to dorm. Our informative seminars help parents to further decide on whether they are more comfortable with buying or renting a home for their student. We are currently working with a lot of college freshmen who are transitioning from dorms to rentals/condominiums. NYU students have specific needs from a home to make university life easier; it takes a property agent who is also a peer to understand what those needs are.
